WordPress 2.5 Released

March 29, 2008

wordpress25blog 2_bottomfeaturethumb.jpgAs it had been predicted, WordPress 2.5 has just been made available coinciding with WordCamp Dallas.
This blog is already running the new version and the upgrade was as painless as possible. It took less than 15 minutes, and that was mostly due to the slow uploading of files. A good place to check for plugin compatibility is the Plugin Compatibility 2.5 list maintained by the WordPress community. Full directions to upgrade are listed in the Upgrading WordPress guide. [Read more]
