Zenfolio Online Photo Sharing Review

Zenfolio is an online photo sharing service similar to Flickr, Smugmug, Fotki, Exposure Manager, and many others. What distinguishes it is the elegance of its interface, easy of use, and superb customer service. I’ve been using it for almost a year and thought it would be useful to share my experience with others. This is not intended to be an exhaustive review, nor a comparison with other services. It’s rather a collection of observations from one user point of view.

MESSENGER Sends Earth the First Color Pictures of Mercury

In the first mission to the densest planet in the solar system since the Mariner 10 spacecraft visited it in 1974 and 1975, NASA’s MESSENGER probe made a historic flyby on January 14, 2008, skimming just 200 Km above Mercury’s surface.

In what will be the closest approach by an object of comparable size or larger until 2027, the asteroid 2007 TU24 is an opportunity for amateurs equipped with modest telescopes to observe a unique celestial event. A telescope of 3 inches or larger aperture is recommended (the Hubble, depicted, is optional).

Anna Ternheim Interview

An interview with Anna Ternheim can be seen in the Featured Video section.
Anna is a singer/songwriter from Sweden. She has a beautiful voice; her lyrics often have a slightly dark tinge, and the musical arrangements are quite unique. She sings in English in a light and sexy accent.
In this interview she talks about the making of her Separation Road album, released in September 2006. The album is excellent and highly recommended.
It’s unfortunate that her work is not so easily found in stores, but on the bright side her last EP is now available in iTunes (perhaps because I nagged them 200 times?) and the Amazon store is distributing her music as well.
