Just make sure to check that all your plugins are up-to-date and that none of them conflicts with release 2.5. A good place to check for plugin compatibility is the Plugin Compatibility 2.5 list maintained by the WordPress community. Full directions to upgrade are listed in the Upgrading WordPress guide.
