Apple Releases Aperture 2.0 Upgrade

Apple has just released a major upgrade to its professional photo software, Aperture. The new version comes with more than 100 improvements covering user interface, RAW image quality, compare and select tools, image processing tools, photo management, print and web publishing, workflow, and AppleScript.
Among the multiple changes, Aperture can now publish to a .Mac Web Gallery, has duplicate detection on imports, can integrate with Google maps using embedded GPS data, and much more. The full list of features can be found at Aperture 2.
The new version costs US$ 199 and it’s listed as shipping in 1-3 business days for the US store. An upgrade for current users costs US$99.
